We've decided to pay our private parking penalty rather than contest it.

We have decided to pay a private parking penalty and put it down to experience, but I'm still annoyed that they make so much profit from such minor infringements. Easy money for them and it mounts up to well over a hundred million pounds annually.

That is the point I repeatedly made for 18 months prior to the law being passed, but the Great British Public ignored me and is now suffering the consequence of having done so. There will be literally millions of similar cases of this parasitic mass fleecing. It's such a huge moneymaker that some very important people are involved.
