Is my Nissan Spirita likely to suffer any expensive problems?

I currently run a 2006 Nissan 1.2 Spirita automatic. It has only done 28,000 miles and has always been properly serviced but I am worried about possible age-related expensive repairs. Would I be better buying a younger car or taking out a warranty from a provider?

If this is a Micra K12, my advice is to get rid of it because of the high potential for needing expensive repairs to the ABS/ESP, ‘intelligent key’ system, power steering, automatic transmission and mass airflow sensor which is integral to the throttle body.
