I just wanted to thank you for your advice on buying and selling. I recently bought a new Audi Q5 through Drivethedeal. I got a much better discount than I could have negotiated myself, with zero hassle. I had been planning to buy a recently used car but with the discount it made no sense. Better to get a car specified exactly how I wanted. The customer service from the Audi selling dealer was excellent. The 45,000-mile 2007 V6 Eos I had to sell was in good condition (apart from heavily kerbed wheels) but the local dealers were not very interested. It was painless for BCA to take it away with SureSell. They recommended a reserve of £6500, which I thought high and £5300 was bid on the day. I turned this down and the buyer came back with £6000, which I was happy to accept (£5658 after commission). The cheque came within the week. Thanks for recommending these two routes, which have worked really well for me.
