Where can I sell our Skoda Octavia with a failed turbo?
Despite regular maintenance, we were travelling through the Brecon Beacons in our 100,000 mile 2005 Skoda Octavia 2.0TDI estate when the turbo blew, with clouds of while oily smoke. We paid a £1700 bill to have it replaced, but within three miles it developed an engine knock and limped home. Expensive lesson learned. Don't persevere with an older car if something major hits. However, how would you suggest we rid ourselves of this still nice looking, but undriveable lump of metal. eBay it?

eBay, but prepare yourself for the great unwashed and villainous arriving on your doorstep. And take only cash, preferably in a bank where you can instantly bank it.
