Which small car capable of carrying golf clubs to replace our Megane?

My wife's car is 2004 Renault Megane Coupe Cabrio in excellent condition with 30,000 miles on the clock. We wish to trade it in for a smaller cheap-to-run car about three years old. The car should be auto, with a boot that will hold golf clubs. At the moment I'm thinking Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Polo (but it doesn't have conventional auto-box?), Renault Clio or Kia cee’d. What would you suggest?

It’s a good time of year to sell or part-exchange a Megane CC. A KIA Rio is the equivalent size to a Fiesta and comes with a 4-speed torque converter auto and a 7-year warranty. Fiestas and B-Maxes now have a very good dual clutch Powershift auto. Polos have dual clutch DSGs that readers have had problems with.
