Should I buy this used Honda CR-V?

I reluctantly have to part with my very comfortable 31,000 2006 Volvo S80 SE D5 185 due to worsening back problems. A local garage has a September 2012 ex-demo Honda CR-V 2.2i-DTEC EX 5-door diesel (old model) at £23,995 with a £4000 trade-in for my Volvo. I like the CR-V but it's not as comfortable as the old Volvo, although entering and leaving it is much easier for me. The car also has several add-ons that I wouldn't choose but would not remove, such as a rear spoiler, running boards etc. Are the prices fair, or can I expect a better deal?

I personally would not buy a car with junk additions such as those you describe. I think you'd be better off anyway with a Ford C-Max 2.0TDCI Powershift. Though the CR-V is very comfortable indeed, you might find it easier to get in and out of the C-Max. You also need to consider the DPF on either of these cars. If most of your driving is relatively short runs from cold (under 10 miles) then a car with a DPF will probably have problems.
