Can I sell my faulty car to a dealer?
My Nissan Micra is currently in the garage and has been diagnosed with a stretched timing chain. I have replaced both the crankshaft and camshaft sensors twice previously but now the car is finally giving up. In addition both the front brake discs have slight pitting.
One of my option is to try and trade this in as part exchange (however I am a student so can't afford a new car) or sell this on an internet auction site. I have been quoted £800 - £900 to fix the car but I simply cannot afford this. The car is great and for someone that can perform the fitting themselves this could be a good car.
My question is: would this car be considered for a trade in and is it worth it to try and sell it?

You will be able to trade it in with the disclosed fault, but be very wary because a lot of small dealers will try to rip you off. There have been a lot of expensive faults with Micra K12s.
