Should I buy this 2000 Rover 45 diesel?
I've been offered a Rover 45 Diesel, 2000 reg with 170,000 miles on the clock. It is in OK condition with a knock on the side. I've been offered it through the owner's club. The problem is I'm in Ireland and am worried about travelling over to buy the car. I know I'd pick something up here but the Rover diesel is a very hard car to find, unless its a 75 which is very expensive to run. I've always wanted one but at £650 is it worth it? Would it be reliable? Am I insane?

Forget it. Too much hassle to buy a potentially duff car for too much money.
