Is it illegal to drive with an LCD screen visible in the car?

I have two in-car cameras, but have been told that it’s illegal to drive if the LCD screen is visible. Is this correct? I’ve been told that if the camera is '50mm into wiper sweep' an endorsement will be issued. Is this true?

Can't subscribe to the LCD visible prosecution; they would have to apply the law about TV screens for that. But the protruding into swept area of wipers is correct. Apparently the answer is to have the camera on the dash or suspended from a sunvisor, not stuck to the screen. Alternatively, there may be space behind the mirror for it, though there isn't on most high end current cars because that area already carries the dusk sensors, rain sensors, collision mitigation sensors and speed limit sign cameras.
