Can I return a used car?

Two weeks ago I bought a 2003 Ford Focus with 109,000 miles on the clock for £1800. During the time I've owned it I've discovered a fairly severe oil leak coming from somewhere on the engine or transmission. Can I reject it based on unsatisfactory quality?

Assuming you bought it from a dealer, you must first refer it to them who may prefer to fix the oil leak rather than give you your money back. However, if you bought it privately, you will have no redress unless you can prove breach of contract.
