Peugeot 2008 or Nissan Note?
We are looking for a smaller car that will also be able to cope with the occasional long journey. It needs to be comfortable (interior and ride), quiet, reasonably economical and have a high/easy access seating position. We also would prefer an automatic over a manual.
We have not yet looked at any cars, but a model from the Peugeot 2008 and Nissan Note range seems to fit the bill. Which one would you buy?

If you like the idea of a 2008, also check out a Renault Captur. If you want an auto, the Captur EDC has a dual clutch auto whereas the 2008 'auto' is only a single clutch automated manual: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/renault/renault-ca.../

What would you advise is the best small car to buy? Such as the Nissan Note/Micra, Peugeot 108, Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto, or Vauxhall Corsa. The car would cover approx 6000 miles per year on short journeys.
My wife is considering a Fiat Panda 4x4. We have a narrow garage for which it would be ideal; however, I am over six foot in height, with a bad back. Would the seating and ride comfort be good enough?...
