Is there a company that offers insurance in the UK for non-residents?
I am UK born but emigrated to South Africa in the 1970s. I now want to return to the UK for short summer holidays and want to keep a car over in the UK. I tried to get car insurance but so far all the companies say I must have a UK address, which I don't have. Are there any companies that will provide third party insurance for non-residents?

Without a UK address, you won't be able to get car insurance. Can you not use the address where you'll be based in the UK? Alternatively, have you considered renting a car? It will cut out much of the hassle and you won't need to worry about when you're not in the UK. It may work out to be cheaper, too.
