BMW 3 Series causing strange noises

I own a 2001 BMW 3 Series E46 and there is a strange noise coming from the rear of the car when I drive at through roundabouts or when the weight gets transferred to the left side. Any idea what’s causing it?

Possible a broken coil spring (broken at an end).
