Is it possible to make your own windscreen washer fluid?
Is there an effective DIY recipe for non-freezing windscreen washer fluid? I was thinking of mixing water, washing up liquid and methylated spirit. Will this work?

Sorry, no, this is an old wife's remedy. Where possible, use the manufacturer recommended washer additive. The wrong stuff can melt or block pipes and cause bacterial growth.
