Buying a new 4x4 - what do you recommend?
I am looking to change my petrol 2003 Honda CRV. It has been a great car, but I want to replace it with something newer. I've looked at the new Honda CRV/Mazda CX-5/Hyundai Santa Fe, but can’t decide.
I am also unsure about petrol or diesel, as I've read some worrying things about DPFs. What do you suggest?

The Honda CRV has been spectacularly reliable: probably the most reliable SUV of all time. The Mazda CX-5 2.2 diesel is the least likely to suffer DPF problems because of the advanced design of the engine with exhaust manifold incorporated into the cylinder head.
