BMW wheel corrosion
I noticed the alloy wheels on my BMW E91 320d have corroded three years and three months after I bought the car from new. The wheels have been well looked after and the car has only done 35000 miles.
BMW has admitted this is disappointing, but will only contribute 50% to the very inflated estimate to replace them. Is there anything else I can do?

Depends what you mean. Corrosion from kerb scuffs and stone chips, down to you. Corrosion caused by flaking of the clearcoat lacquers from someone using aggressive, acidic wheel cleaners, down to you. Corrosion from leaving brake dust too long, down to you. Otherwise, down to BMW.
