Honda CR-V DPF filter problem

My 2012 Honda CRV has been in the dealership for six weeks now with a DPF emissions filter problem. This has been a recurrent issue with the vehicle since new; we are now told it will be another two weeks before technicians arrive from Japan to start working on the car. Any idea what’s wrong with it?

That's interesting. Had a few reports of DPF problems on previous CR-V 2.2iDTEC, Civiv 2.2iDTEC and Accord 2.2iDTEC. Not a lot. Mainly confined to cars used repeatedly for short runs from cold which the DPF simply is not suited to.
