Buying a used car - could you recommend an alternative to the Renault Megane
My daughter's nine year old Renault Megane has finally expired and she needs a replacement for £10,000 - £12,000. She liked the Megane, but it proved unreliable and expensive to repair. Could you recommend alternatives that are more reliable?

Decent combination of ride and handling that might suit some people better than a harder sprung Golf or a Civic. A few inches taller than a Golf of Focus so easier to get in and out.
