Clutch feels ‘spongy’ – what’s the fault?

We have a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi and the clutch feels soft and 'spongy' when pressed. We recently had a new clutch master cylinder fitted as the clutch would sometimes stick.

The car is fine if not driven for a few days, the pressure is there, it's only during long journeys that the problems start. I have a feeling the system may need bleeding, but I am not 100% sure. Any ideas?

I think so too. It's being affected by heat. Could also mean that water has got into the clutch fluid.
