Diesel engine clogged up after running out of fuel - how can I fix it?
I ran out of diesel recently in my Ford Mondeo. I added more fuel, but the car keeps spluttering to a halt. I’ve put injection cleaner in and changed the fuel filter, but I am still getting problems.
The battery is fine, but it seems the engine may have sucked up some muck when I ran out of diesel, is this possible?

Yes. Clogging the fuel filter. Remove and replace it. Prime it. Get the air out of the system. And you should be okay.
