Buying a small 4x4 and my sons looking for a 7 seater

What would you recommend as a small 4x4 which needs to tow as well? approx £3000 so make and model and year? How do you rate a Toyota Rav and if so, year, model etc pse

1. Depends what you mean by "small" and what weight you need it to tow. 2. By excluding MPVs you have made the only answer a Peugeot 207SW or 308SW. That's the only station wagon available with 7 forward facing seats. The Dacia MPW 7-seater was never sold in the UK.
