Please can you give details of how to attend London based auctions of used police dog patrol vans? vans
Dear John, my friend, who doesn't have a computer, is a professional dog walker and business is good. He wonders if it's possible to buy, at auction or otherwise, an ex-police dog patrol van or similar, ie, a used van in good condition suitable for taking a few dogs for long walks daily, with room for all the kit; leads, treats, ball flingers, poo bags, towels, etc. The budget is 3-5k. any information or advise would be greatly appreciated, a good van would transform my friend's and his canine client's lives. Yours Sincerely, Rebecca Clay

Absolutely. West Oxfordshire Motor Auctions every Tuesday evening. Aways a few ex-police dog vans: sometimes vans, sometimes converted, ventilated estate cars. They go from about £1,000. www.woma.co.uk/ To get one home from the auction site you will need trade plates or a trailer or will need to MoT, tax and insure it.
