Problems with Ford KA heater

The heater valve on the Ford KA has been replaced, but I still have an intermittent problem with the heater as it will only blow hot air, any ideas?

If the heater will only blow hot air then the heater valve has not been correctly replaced or has been replaced with another duff one.
