Fuel injector fault with Astra diesel

I have a 2007 Vauxhall Astra diesel 1.7 CDTi. At the moment I’m getting no fuel in at the injectors and no fault codes. I bought the vehicle with the engine half stripped due to overheating, but it was running fine before then.

I did spray some brake cleaner into air intake and the engine did run on this for a few seconds, so it is just the fuel problem.

Well there are many reasons why a engine will not start, but given that you have rebuilt the engine, then we would suggest that you may have made a error in the rebuild. Are you sure of the camshaft timing? Have you checked all fuel lines and the fuel filter?

I would also check the fuel stop solenoid, but you may have to carry out a diagnostic check on it to see if the fault lies in the ECU, or it could be the CKP (crankshaft position sensor.

The heater fan on my Vauxhall Astra doesn't work. It used to work only in setting four, and then stopped working altogether. Replaced the resistor pack but it still isn't working.
