I am having a battle with Honda. I have a new style CR-V with 18-inch wheels, and after 15,000 miles the near side rear was down to the metal on the outer rim. Honda dismissed this as incorrect pressure but had the alignment checked, and said all was OK. This is not the case, as I replaced the rear tyres immediately after Honda had fixed the problem. After 7000 miles I now have two badly-worn outer rear tyres that need replacing.

My understanding is that this has to be mechanical, rather than tyre pressure. I have been diligently checking pressures weekly and its been accurate to one or two psi throughout, due to climatic conditions. Has anyone else encountered these problems? I have never had rear tyres last just 7000 miles.
