Which new family car on motability?
I will soon be able to get a car under the Motability Scheme. I've been giving serious consideration to a Ford Focus, but I'm unsure of 1.6 or 2.0-litre. Can you also tell me which wheel/tyre combination is best for a smooth ride?

The 1.6 TDCI 115 is fine. 15 inch wheels with 195/65 R15 tyres. 16 inch wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres offer less of a cushion, but not bad. Avoid 17 inch and 18 inch wheels with an ordinary Focus. Alternatively, a KIA cee'd 1.4 or 1.6 CRDI SW.
