Need new car with easy access and large boot
I am looking for a new car, but due to lack of mobility need something with easy access. My wife and I play golf, so need a large boot for two sets of golf clubs and a trolley. Most of my journeys are quite short and I only do about 5000 miles per year, so don't want a diesel.
I have about £8000 to spend and am considering a Ford C-Max. Which is the best petrol engine, and are there other cars I should also consider?

If they aren't fitting the 1.6 engine with Powershift to the C-Max yet, they will do soon, or go for the 1.0 EcoBoost with Powershift. You can already get a B-Max with 1.6i + Powershift.
