Retention of no-claims bonus as named driver?
My partner and I both have max no-claim bonuses but we are reducing from two cars to one. We can continue with one insurance policy with the partner as a named driver but how does the other one maintain their no-claims rights in case we revert to two cars in a few years time? LV says that the stopped policy will only entitle a one year retention of the no-claims that have been built up.

Normally an ex policyholder retains NCD for 2 years, but 1 year must be the max LV allows.
