Which 4x4 crossover with an automatic gearbox?
I'm looking to purchase either a crossover or 4 x 4 vehicle. My main criteria are: High ground clearance (farm roads, rough ground), comfort and either full 4x4 or intelligent 4x4 for snow, mud etc. I would also like the vehicle to be automatic, have cruise control etc for motorway driving and have rear parking sensors.
For the last 6 years I have driven the Skoda Octavia Elegance model, which I loved. Found this a very good vehicle, but unfortunately it dosn't have the ground clearance I need.
I have a budget of approx £18,000 and ideally would either prefer new or as new as possible. Any suggestions?

Avoid Freelander II automatics. As long as you won't be towing, the answer is probably a Toyota RAV-4 2.0i Valvematic Multidrive S.
