Which MPV should we replace our Berlingo with?

We have a Citroen Berlingo Multispace. Whilst I am happy with the shape, it feels huge, which makes parking more difficult, and I find the doors heavy and unwieldy. Please can you suggest which current makes and models would be a similar shape but smaller, and retain that "van which drives like a car" feel?

I recommend you look at the Skoda Roomster. The smaller Citroen Nemo and Peugeot Bipper look like smaller Berlingos but actually more drive like vans, not like cars. The current Berlingo is bigger than the original, but rides and handles considerably better and is much safer in a crash.

I'm looking for an estate car/van-like car that would give me a big boot space. I need 6.25 feet in length and about 4 feet wide, to drive to Italy and back, but at a low cost - no glamour needed.
