Which small car offers better performance than our Honda Jazz but keeps the folding rear seats?
My wife currently drives a 2007 Honda Jazz. She loves the CVT auto gearbox and the ‘Magic’ easy folding back seats. However, particularly on longer journeys, she finds it lacks the power she would like and would prefer a bit more room in the back to accommodate our large dog and luggage. Can you confirm which other Honda vehicles have the same seat folding arrangements, and are the auto gearboxes in other and later models as good as the CVT in the Jazz? She likes both the Civic and the CR-V.

The Civic has the same type of folding seats and the space is vast. It came with an I-Shift for a while, but this was replaced by a proper 5-speed torque converter auto and that follows through in the new model Civic. The latest Jazz 1.4i VTEC CVT-7 is a bit more lively than the old 1.4iDSI. More on the Civic here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/honda/civic-2006/?se...t
