Is the automatic Suzuki Swift any good?
We love our manual Suzuki Swift, but for medical reasons relating to my clutch leg we may need to move to an automatic. I understand you are a great fan of the Swift, but not the automatic. What would be your recommendation for an automatic in this size and class of vehicle?

No problem with the old Swift 1.5 automatic. We have the same engine and 4-speed torque converter auto in our Toyota Soluna Vios in Thailand, and that has done about 150,000 kilometres. New alternatives are, for fun, a Mazda 2 1.5 Activmatic, for overall satisfaction a Honda Jazz 1.4 CVT-7, and, if you want a more upright car, a Hyundai ix20, KIA Venga 1.6 automatic or Toyota Verso S Multidrive S.
