Which small, punchy car to replace my daughter's SEAT Ibiza?
My daughter is planning to replace her 2003 SEAT Ibiza next year and has a shortlist including the Fiesta 1.4 Zetec, Mazda 2 1.5 Sport and Renault Clio 1.2 Dynamique. I note that the Mazda has a chain cam, but I'm not sure about the Renault. She will probably cover about 10,000 to 12,000 miles a year and her daily commute involves hilly roads, thus the thirst for power. I would greatly value your opinion, as the three cars all appear good on paper.

The Mazda 2 1.3TS2 is more fun than the 1.5-litre model. It's more economical and tax is just £30. That's the one I'd go for.
