Is the Lexus IS250C a good used buy?
I recently test-drove a Lexus IS250C. It's no sports car and could do with one extra litre, but it's very refined and superbly built. I'm being offered an ex-Lexus management car, a 2011 model with very few miles at £28,500 including a three-year service pack.
The equivalent 2011 E350, BMW 330D or Audi A5 3LTDi quattro convertibles would cost about £8000 to £10,000 more. Given that I'm happy to cruise at 84mph with the occasional need to accelerate past obstacles, which would you go for?

I really like the IS250C for its astonishing refinement, roof up or roof down. On past performance, it's likely to be three times as reliable as anything else on your list, too. So I'd sacrifice the performance and fuel economy and go for it. Remember it is Lexus' second folding hardtop. First was the SC430.
