Hyundai UK may also be struggling to get cars from Korea. The weakness of the pound means they can make more money by fulfilling the orders of other markets first. The weakness of the pound is making importing into the UK very expensive - something that's being felt by a number of car manufacturers. Some German manufacturers are quoting waiting times of 6-10 months for some models for the same reason. There were stories last year from buyers who faced a similarly long wait for i10s and i20s. The wait was infuriating for a number of buyers, but the orders were fulfilled. As far as we've heard there's no reason to be worried about the ix35 or Hyundai.
