Looking for a comfortable saloon for long journeys
I have a six year old Subaru Forester and a 13 year old Volkswagen Passat saloon. I intend to keep the Subaru and change the Passat. Can you recommend a replacement car that would be good for long journeys?

The best cars in this class are now the BMW F30 3-Series, the Mazda 6 Skyactiv, the KIA Optima and the Ford Mondeo. All preferably on 16-inch or 17-inch wheels with comparatively deep profile tyres rather than on 18-inch or 19-inch wheels with very low profile tyres.
