What do you think of the Honda Civic 1.8?

It’s time to change my 2002 Ford Focus 1.8 petrol Ghia estate which I've had since May 2006. Whatever I buy is likely to be my last car so I want something mildly exciting and reliable. I have in mind a petrol Honda Civic 1.8. What do you think?

I did about 800 miles in one at 45mpg, which isn't bad. There's a road test video here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/honda/civic-2006/?se...t
