Should I buy a Ford Focus instead of an Audi A1?

Thank you for your prompt reply regarding the Audi A1 1.2 T SE. As I explained I have always bought Ford and, in view of what you say regarding the A1 and Polo, perhaps I should reconsider and revert to thinking Ford. What do you reckon to a Focus?

Depends what you want it for? The new 125PS Focus Ecoboost 125 is brilliant (as long as you remember to idle the turbo for 30 seconds or so before switching off). But a Focus is a different sort of car. Unlike an Audi A1 it has no status attached.
