Can you recommend a car which can carry a wheelchair-bound person?
Could you please make suggestions for cars which can carry a wheelchair with patient? I am 88 and my wife is 87 with Alzheimer’s. My son Chris, living with us, is the driver. The car should offer a comfortable ride with easy loading and unloading, and not too expensive because it's probably a short term requirement. Early secondhand is acceptable, good reliability desirable with no dodgy flywheels or failing sensors, and Chris prefers petrol.

Do you mean something into which a wheelchair with your wife on board can be pushed? Or do you mean a car that can accommodate your wife and the wheelchair separately? If the former, try www.brotherwood.co.uk. If the latter, a Citroen C3 Picasso or a Citroen Berlingo Multispace.
