Buying a used Scirocco diesel - what to look for?
I'm going to have a look at a used Volkswagen Scirocco on Thursday. It's a diesel, 2009 model, 140BHP and done around 60000 Miles. I was wondering if there should be anything specific I should be looking for?
Any problems I should be able to identify from looking at the engine? And where and what to look for?

Needs a timing belt, tensioner, small pulleys and waterpump. If this has not been done it will cost you £500 - £600, so immediately chip that off the asking price.
