A car on par with a Honda Jazz?
I have a 53 plate Honda Jazz which has just flown through the MOT. I'm looking to upgrade maybe only to an 04 or 54 plate but after speaking to my mechanic he said I would be mad just to upgrade a year and get any Renault, Citroen or Fiat or a Corsa or Fiesta.
He explained the little niggles with the others and that he never see's Honda's with rattles, corrosion or suspension problems of other make cars of the same age (8-9 years old) so to upgrade a year or two on a problematic make would not make financial sense.
He said the Toyota Yaris would be on parr with the Jazz - so I'm wondering if you can advise what other cars would be a thought?

Trying to decide on what auto to buy. Husband no longer able to drive. I want reasonable acceleration and decent safety features. I drive mainly in busy London suburbs and on the M25.
