Electrical issues with a 206?

I've just bought a Peugeot 206, which worked fine on the way home. But now when I start it none of the electrics or dials will work. It will run perfectly fine apart from this. We had to fit a new indicator stem as old one was broken - everything was working before this. Any ideas?

When you say none of the electrics work, I take it that the engine starts okay, so are you just saying it's the lights etc?
If so have you checked all the relevant fuses - Fuse F21-15amp and also fuses F9 to F12.
