Replacement engine covered by new warranty?
After two ECU problems and breakdown recovery, Bentley are replacing the engine in the Mulsanne for which I am the chauffeur. I have asked the question as to whether there will be a 3 year warranty on the new engine, and have been told that the car warranty, including the new engine, will expire after the normal 3 year period end in November this year.
I am amazed that this would appear to be standard practice - is this correct?

Absolutely 100% correct. The owner of the car bought a 3 year warranty with the car. The engine has been replaced under that warranty. It is not itself covered for 3 years - though, of course, if it fails again and you and the owner are blameless then there would be a good case for some Goodwill.
