Can you please recommend any 2.0-litre diesel engines for short to medium journeys, around 13,000 miles per year?

Honda 1.6, Renault 1.6. Nissan 1.6, Hyundai/KIA 1.6, Hyundai/KIA 1.7, BMW 2.0 litre, Mazda 2.2 litre Skyactiv. All are chain cam. None seem to suffer from DPF problems when used sensibly.
