Kia Cee'd, 1.4 petrol, manual, 2012 - What's the target price?
I currently have a 2006 Ford Focus LX 1.8 TDCi estate. It has done 90,000 miles and I think some hefty repair bills may be approaching. Due to DMFs, DPFs, price of diesel, servicing costs, etc. I think I'm going to replace it with a petrol engined car.
The seven-year Kia warranty is very tempting and you've given the new model an excellent review (the crash tests also look very impressive). I like the practicality of an estate, but I could probably make do with a hatchback. There are currently quite a few Kia Cee'd 1.4 '1 spec' cars on Autotrader. They're all listed at the same price of £10,995 and a couple more get added each day, so there doesn't seem to be any shortage.
Drive the Deal have brand new versions of the same car for about £11,500 (although this does include a £1,000 Kia loyalty bonus). What should my target price be for a nearly new model? What do you think I could get for the Ford Focus in part exchange?

I don't know about the used cee'ds. But I do trust drivethedeal, and if you're getting a new car for just £500 more than a pre-reg, I would go for the new car.
