I've noticed an intermittent issue with my left turn indicator. The bulbs are all OK and I've tested both the hazard lights and indicators when the car is stationary. The car passed its first MOT last week, having just turned 3 years old (so the main part of the manufacturers' warranty has now expired)

Sometimes after setting the left turn signal, the normal clicking noise from the indicator becomes more rapid when turning the steering wheel to the left. The noise is what I'd normally associate with a dead indicator bulb.

When I stop turning the steering wheel the noise goes back to the usual steady "click click click". The indicator cancels as usual when bringing the steering wheel back to the centre.
