Engine noisy, quietened by dipping the clutch
my car has just had a new clutch kit fitted because it was very noisy when started was told it was the something to do with the clutch. The garage has just told me it's a new gearbox my car needs - the noise goes away when you dip the clutch or put in gear - and when sitting idle it's very noisy.
I am not sure if it's the gearbox would like any other advise before a get a new 1 for the car, as he said it was the clutch at the beginning.
