Loss of power
It's a Vauxhall Vectra B 2.0DTI 16v. All was fine til the engine bay was washed. Now the engine management light comes on, Major loss of power, when cold will only rev to 1500, hot to 2500 any suggestions?

Moisture in the ECU. You might be able to evaporate the moisture off with a hairdryer, but be very careful. Always stupid to wash an engine with steam or with water.
