Honda Jazz recall - can you help?

I have a Honda Jazz (registered 3 Jan 2005) and have covered 76,000kms (47,500 miles) to date.

I am now getting a noise at the back when driving at 50kms/hour or more, this has been diagnosed as a rear bearings issue.

I believe that there was a faulty batch of rear bearings used up to VIN 225989. My VIN is JHMGD17705S216192.

Can you advise me on how best to deal with Honda regarding this problem.

Whilst there have been two Honda Jazz recalls that I have participated in, there has not been one (as far as I know) regarding rear bearings.

You can find out what's on offer here: www.honda.co.uk/cars/owners/youandyourcar/recallsa.../
But the Honda recalls and Updates site is currently down.
I don't think Honda is offering any automatic entitlement, and at more the 7 years old your car is actually past the end of its original design lifer.
