Replacing Ford Escord Estate
We have had our Escort Estate 10 years and are struggling to decide on suitable replacement. Due to arthriticky knees want something we can sit up in, enough leg room as I am 6ft 4", don't need huge interior space as only 2 of us travelling usually, but enough boot room for 2 labradors. MPG major consideration as lot of urban driving. Have test driven Qashqai but seemed huge but lovely drive. Budget up to £11,000, suggestions please!

Diesels with DPFs are no good for urban driving. Suggest a year old Hyundai ix20 or KIA Venga.
